UNSCEAR 1982 Report

Ionizing radiation: Sources and biological effects

The UNSCEAR 1982 Report is comprised of the main text of the 1982 report to the General Assembly (A/37/45) and twelve scientific annexes.

Report to the General Assembly with Scientific Annexes

alt text is missing

The United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR) assesses the levels and effects of exposure to ionizing radiation. UNSCEAR’s scientific findings underpin radiation risk evaluation and international protection standards.

This publication provides the supporting scientific assessment for UNSCEAR’s 1982 report to the General Assembly and includes the Report to the General Assembly with short overviews of the materials and conclusions contained in the scientific annexes.
